Jamila’s culinary journey began the way all great stories do— organically. A single dish contributed to a Brooklyn boutique potluck became the foundation of a career that would eventually place her in the kitchens of some of the world’s most iconic names. Her plant-based artistry has graced the tables of Erykah Badu, Dave Chappelle, Alicia Silverstone, Lupita Nyong’o, COMMON and Gabrielle Union—among others.
